Mimecast - Personal Portal User Guide
If you receive one of the below emails (or you’re missing an email that you should have received) you can login and view more information about it in the portal. If you’re unsure whether this email is legitimate, please contact IT Support before releasing and opening any attachments.
- Search for Mimecast login or click this link
- Enter your email address in the login box and click Next.
- This should automatically log you in, however, you may be presented with an Office 365 login screen. If so, please login with your normal Office 365 username and password.

Select “Mimecast Personal Portal" and you will be presented with the below screen.

Here you can see “Personal On Hold” which is the main section where you can find and manage your held emails.
- The portal will display similar to below where you can view the email contents, the sender and attachment details. The options above the subject allow you to report the email as spam/phishing, release the email to your inbox (and permit sender) or reject the email (and block sender)
- This section also allows you to add blocked/allowed senders in the section underneath “Managed Senders”.
